This note introduces you to the interview with <strong>Gert-Jan Oplaat the chairman of the Association of Dutch Poultry Processing Industries (NEPLUVI).<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe interviews were developed by Ad Bal, the editor of aviNews International, who has more than 20 years of experience as an editor in de poultry sector.\r\n\r\nGert-Jan explained that the Association of Dutch Poultry Processing Industries is in charge of accompanying all poultry processors in the slaughterhouse and cutting plants.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>The organization is responsible for export certificates, and product legalization, among others.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<div class=\"opiniones\">\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;100% of the companies that slaughter chickens are part of the association. There are companies with more than 40 years in NEPLUVI.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\nHe also indicated that currently, the association counts <strong>60 members,<\/strong> and 17 are slaughterhouses. The others are cutting plants, traders, and cold stores.\r\n\r\nTalking about the processed tonnes, Gert-Jan said that there are <strong>2 million chickens sacrificed per day for a total of 10 million chickens per 5 days or a week.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nMoreover, the export position is around 3 billion euros per year of which 2.5 billion goes to European countries and 500 million goes to 3 other countries outside the European Union.\r\n\r\nGert-Jan explained to Ad, that the <strong>market is growing so fast<\/strong> and the NEPLUVI members are creating different strategies for that since it is not easy to have competitors such as Poland and Ukraine.\r\n\r\nOther discussed topics were:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Influence of Ukraine and Russian war on the poultry production<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Challenges for the [register] Dutch poultry processing industry<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<div class=\"row mt-2\">\r\n<div class=\"col-sm-12 col-lg-7 px-3 px-sm-5\">\r\n\r\nTo watch the interview with <strong>Gert-Jan Oplaat<\/strong>, check out the video where the above topics and others are discussed in depth.\r\n<div class=\"subtitulos\">\r\n<div class=\"row mt-2\">\r\n<div class=\"col-sm-12 col-lg-7 px-3 px-sm-5\">\r\n<div class=\"subtitulos\">\r\n\r\nAbout aviNews International&#8217;s participation t the VIV-Europe 2022:\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"row mt-2\">\r\n<div class=\"row mt-2\">\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>aviNews international delivered the latest magazine to most of the assistants.
