Antonia Tacconi from Perstorp told us all about it at IPPE 2023!<\/strong>\r\n\r\nDuring <strong>IPPE 2023<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/nutrinews.com\/en\/countries\/europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #993366\">nutriNews International<\/span><\/strong><\/a> had the opportunity to sit down and chat with <strong>Antonia Tacconi<\/strong>, <strong>Global Product Manager of the Gut Health segment for Perstorp<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nAntonia graduated in 2015 from the <strong>University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna<\/strong>. Where she\u00a0 obtained a <strong>PhD in Bioanalytics<\/strong> focusing on the detection of antibiotic residues in animal-derived foods. Since then, she has developed her career within the international feed additives industry, gaining substantial experience, working with various types of feed additives as well as with a wide range of livestock species.\r\n\r\nWe got the chance to learn a little more about <strong>Perstorp&#8217;s history<\/strong> as a company and their devotion to gut health\u00a0 preservation.\u00a0<strong>Perstorp is a Swedish company<\/strong>\u00a0which began as a\u00a0<strong>specialty chemicals<\/strong>\u00a0manufacturer approximately 140 years ago, which is quite remarkable.\u00a0Perstorp has over<strong> 60 years<\/strong> of experience in innovations with short chain fatty acids for\u00a0agriculture and over a decade of experience innovating in the field of esterified organic acids.\u00a0They were regarded as<strong> innovators<\/strong> at the time, and continue to be considered as such within this industry\u00a0by being the pioneers in the production of<strong> protected organic acids<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n<strong>Perstorp believes on finding wealth through better animal gut health<\/strong>, and not just wealth from profits. <strong>Referring<\/strong> to the kind of <strong>feeling<\/strong> you get when<strong> gut health<\/strong> is completely <strong>under control<\/strong>. Therefore, the <strong>company<\/strong> continues to<strong> innovate<\/strong> while <strong>accomplishing its mission<\/strong> of bringing <strong>gut wealth to farmers around the world.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe <strong>gut health segment<\/strong> is at the core of <strong>Perstorp\u2019s strategic direction<\/strong>, and <strong>Tacconi&#8217;s role<\/strong> is pivotal for its success.
